I am so excited to welcome you to another wonderful year at Meadows Parkway Early Childhood! As I begin my 14th year as principal, I’m looking forward to continued learning, growth, and building meaningful connections with our amazing students, families and community members.
This is my 20th year in school leadership, and it’s been such a joy to spend most of that time right here at Meadows Parkway. Before coming here, I served as an assistant principal at both Independence and John Weldon Elementary. Prior to that, I was a classroom teacher for 12 years - all within the Francis Howell School District. With 32 years in Francis Howell, I’m proud to have grown alongside this community.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Saint Louis University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University, and a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Missouri Baptist University.
Outside of school, I’m married to my husband, Chris, and we have three grown sons - Jake, Zachary, and Gavin. Our family also includes our daughter-in-law, Katelyn, our sweet granddaughter, Isabella, and our two fun-loving yellow Labradors, Duramax and Allison.
It is truly an honor to lead such an exceptional learning community. Meadows Parkway is a welcoming and caring community where children and families are supported, celebrated, and given a strong foundation for the future. I’m excited for all the learning, laughter, and joy the new school year will bring!

Meadows Parkway Early Childhood opened it’s doors for the 2000-2001 school year under the leadership Ms. Nancy Crystal. It was the third and final early childhood center to open in the Francis Howell School Distrct.
The building is situated on acreage in the City of Weldon Spring. It is host to 12 classrooms with a student capacity of 300.
As a District focused on continuous improvement, each of our 23 schools develops a site-based school improvement plan every year. The plan outlines the goals and actions the building plans to take throughout the year to improve various areas of performance.
A pyramid of intervention is a tiered approach to prevention and intervention strategies to support students both academically and behaviorally. The pyramid uses a variety of strategies and techniques to help all students stay on the right track. The foundation of the pyramid offers Tier 1 supports for all students. Tier 2 interventions provide additional support for smaller groups of students who need more targeted help. Tier 3 provides the most intensive supports for individual students when Tier 1 and 2 interventions have been unsuccessful. Our schools review and update their pyramid on a regular basis to ensure new strategies are incorporated and all are aligned with best practice.
The student handbook summarizes District policy and contains general guidelines and information. Translated copies of this Handbook are available. Contact the school office.
